Insurance Cover for Members
The Third Age Trust provides Public and Products Liability Insurance cover for all u3as and their members who host or are involved with running or organising events or meetings. It does not provide Personal Injury Cover. Children are not covered by the u3a's insurance and are therefore not allowed to attend any u3a events.

Risk Assessments
A prerequisite of the u3a's insurance provision is that a current Risk Assessment has been performed for each meeting or venue and that the members attending have been made aware of its contents. Copies of current risk assessments are available from the Health and Safety Officer.
