Terms and Conditions of Membership and Privacy Statement

Dronfield and District u3a members are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the Guiding Principles of the u3a Movement and are expected to know, follow and promote these principles at every opportunity. Members are also expected to abide by Dronfield and District u3a’s policies and procedures, in particular its Member and Trustee Code of Conduct and its Privacy Policy and Personal Data Management Policy.

Dronfield and District u3a holds members’ personal details on a secure database and uses them solely for the purposes of administration and the communication of u3a related information. They are never supplied to an outside agency or party other than for members to receive u3a matters, the national magazine of the u3a movement. The u3a’s Legitimate Interest Assessment, Privacy Policy and Personal Data Management Policy together set out in detail how it complies with its legal obligations to process and protect personal data. They also define individual members’ responsibilities for handling their own and other members’ personal data.
