Dronfield and District

Genealogy

Relaxed, friendly and with varying skills, we aim to help each other discover our ancestors and research their lives.
Experienced members assist those new to research, share their knowledge and help when we're stumped. Advice is given on suitable research sites to use. Some sites, for example Ancestry, require a subscription fee but there others that are free. There's no such thing as a brick wall.

Members are encouraged to bring fully charged laptops, tablets/iPads to meetings in order to connect to genealogy websites. We have a projector for demonstrations or for visiting speakers.
