Chester’s Christmas Market typically features around 80 wooden chalets with local and independent traders offering a wide variety of handmade crafts, jewellery, accessories, and stocking fillers. Festive staples including bratwurst, hog roasts, and roasted chestnuts and a covered bar serving festive tipples of mulled wine, spiced rum, and gourmet hot chocolate. Whilst there, you might also like to pop in to the celebrated Christmas Tree Festival in the Cathedral.

If our trip to York Christmas market in 2025 is anything to go by, this is likely to be a sell-out trip, so put the date in your diary and you will be able to start booking from our October Monthly Meeting (coincidentally, also our AGM).

Booking: Starts at the DDu3a Monthly Meeting on Wednesday 14th October 2026. Places must be booked and paid for in advance.

Departure and return times: Coach will leave from outside Dronfield Sports Centre at 09:00 prompt and we will leave the destination at 17:00 unless advised otherwise.
