Dronfield and District

History

Layer by layer, history has accumulated beneath our feet. Its effects are all around us. The History Group is our key to unlocking the secrets of the past. Discover what history has done for us.

The group explores many aspects of history. The monthly meetings generally feature a speaker. Their talk may cover an aspect of local history or something else of historical interest. There is at least one historical field trip a year and members are encouraged to research a historical interest of their own.
